I can't believe what a morning I had - took my Mini to get an inspection at Mini of Alexandria. They quoted me over $5,000 for bushings, lights, tires/etc that were labeled as critical, and said it was the only way I would pass an inspection. I left to get a second opinion and came to this shop via a recommendation from Executive Foreign. When I got there (I believe his name was Rick) he told me there was an hour wait to get it looked at. I was about to wait, but then he asked to see why MoA was failing me, so I showed him the form they gave me. I could hear the disbelief in his voice - he took my car IMMEDIATELY to give it a look, came back out and said, "those tires look brand new??? and the bushings are cracked because they're old, but they're not broken at all, there would be play there but there's zero play. the underside of your car looks clean, we'll replace the lights you need, and you're good to go" not even 10 minutes later and I'm paying FIFTY FOUR DOLLARS AND FOURTY NINE CENTS. Are you kidding me?!?! From $5,000+ to $54.49. I think my head was spinning off of my body. I was so worried I was going to have to get rid of my lil' Coop, but I got the seal of approval (literally) from this amazing shop. Words cannot even remotely express the relief I felt. Thank you all so much for coming to the rescue, it absolutely made my month!!!
